Frequently Asked Questions to assist you if you are having problems accessing your information.

1.  I keep getting errors when I attempt to log-in

First double check you are using the correct log-in details You will need Your login name / case idWe will have sent you your login name (which is also your case id) with your welcome pack when we first received the instruction to handle your case.  This number is the same for each or either transaction (sale and / or purchase). Your password is automatically generated by our system and emailed to you when you first register on the HL conveyancing.

 2. Have you got cookies enabled?

The HL Interactive Conveyancing site uses 'cookies' to remember who you are as you move from page to page. This allows you to move freely from page to page without having to re-login each time you wish to view secure information. These cookies are harmless to your computer and are basically there to say 'let this user view this page'. They are destroyed when you log-out or close your Internet browser.

However, some Internet browsers give you the option of disabling 'cookies' or turning them off completely. This will prevent you from using the website properly. To find out more about cookies and how to enable them refer to your browser's help files.

3.  Have you changed you log-in details?

Have you changed your password via the My Profile page? And if so, check to make sure you are using the correct password.

4.  I have forgot my username and password

If you have forgotten your log-in details, you will need your case id and email address to obtain a new password.  Simply use the "Forgot Password"  on the home page and we will email you a new password.

5.  I keep having to login a second or multiple times

Normally you'll only need to log-in each time you visit. However, as a security precaution, and to prevent load on our servers at peak times, if the site is left idle for longer than around 10 minutes you will be automatically logged out.

You will then be prompted to log back in on the next page you visit. In some cases, when you have been automatically logged out, you will be taken to a different page than you were previously on. This is to prevent errors occurring
